Media merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pembelajaran. Melalui media pembelajaran, guru akan lebih mudah menyampaikan informasi kepada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan media gambar untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar serta mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 1 Gempol Kabupaten Pasuruan.Dengan menggunakan tahapan survey hasil belajar siswa, Perumusan dan alternatif pemecahan permasalahan, perencanaan kegiatan, pelaksanaan. dan refleksi maka dapat disimpulkan media gambar dalam bentuk tugas terstruktur dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan siswa lebih aktif pada kegiatan pembelajaran

Entrepreneurial strategy: The relationship between firm size and levels of innovation and risk in small businesses

The expression that “Innovation is the central issue in economic prosperity” (Michael Porter), encapsulates the importance of entrepreneurial strategy, which has been linked to firm growth, particularly through its dimensions of innovation and risk. Firm growth will increase its size, which in turn may affect the entrepreneurial strategy; a research area that has been under-studied. This research contributes to the literature by exploring the relationship between firm size and the entrepreneurial strategy. Findings support the hypothesis that in larger firms the owners pursue a strategy that tends to be higher in innovation but with reduced risk, while in smaller firms the owners pursue a strategy that is higher in risk but lower in innovation. Implementasi Kebijakan Penetapan Inpassing Jabatan Fungsional Guru Bukan Pns dan Angka Kreditnya di SD Swasta Kota Semarang

Improving the quality of teachers is the one of government\u27s implementation inpassing policy and credit points appliance for non Governmental teachers. It\u27s based on regulation of national education minister No. 47 in 2005 and later revised to No. 22 in 2010. This research aims to provide an explanation of the policy implementation inpassing GBPNS happened in Semarang in particular private elementary school and the factors affect on that. It\u27s used used a qualitative descriptive method by analyzing the implementation of the policy inpassing GBPNS. These research uses the theory of George Edward III to analyze the factors that influence policy implementation. The results of this research showed that a lack of awareness of private schools for educational programs so there are many private teachers in particular Permanent Teachers Foundation (GTY) inpassed yet. In this policy the requirements and procedures of inpassing and implementation is not optimal. Another factor that caused the school administration hasn\u27t managed properly. Some suggestions for policy implementation of inpassing GBPNS can be better, with better motivation and further improvement on the performance of the Department of Education. Beside that private schools has to be more concerned on the education programs

Public participation is an important aspect in the success of the government's development program. Family planning is one government program that aims to control the number of residents with a way to control birth spacing and limiting births. Another goal of family planning is to improve the quality of future generations. In the family planning programs in Sub-district Pedurungan, public participation is a form of public awareness to share the support of one of the national government's programs in an effort to control the population and improving the quality of human resources. Technical Implementation Unit of Bapermasper and KB (UPTB) Sub-district Pedurungan which is representative of bapermasper and KB Semarang acts as a supervisor, executive and government officials who deal with matters of family planning in Sub Pedurungan. The purpose of this research is to see the form of community participation in family planning programs, the level of community participation in family planning programs and the factors that influence community participation in planning programs in Sub-district Pedurungan. The results of this research are the form of community participation in family planning programs in Sub Pedurungan is pseudo participation. Implementasi Perda No 11 Tahun 2000 Tentang Kebijakan Pengaturan Dan Pembinaan Pkl Di Kelurahan Karangtempel Kecamatan Semarang Timur Kota Semarang

The existence of street vendors (PKL) in Semarang which increases every year makes Semarang government seeks to make arrangements and coaching. Form of regulation and guidance through Regulation No. 11 of 2000. This was done in view of the presence of street vendors, especially in Sub Karangtempel Eastern District of Semarang contribute to regional revenue by withdrawal retribution. However, the existence of the street vendors also disturb the cleanliness, the road scenery, or even sometimes cause traffic jams as street vendors put merchandise in vain. Problems studied related to how the implementation of Regulation No. 11 of 2000 and inhibiting factors in the implementation of Regulation No. 11 of 2000. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The technique of collecting data by in-depth interviews, documentation and observation studies.The results showed that the implementation of Regulation No. 11 of 2000 on the policy setting and street vendors development at village Karangtempel Eastern District of Semarang still not going well. This is can be viewed from the mechanism of implementation of Regulation No. 11 of 2000 experienced overlapping authority and are still violations committed by street vendors to Regulation No. 11 of 2000. The violations occurred among street vendors who put merchandise on the patio or sidewalks, street vendors permanent buildings along East Flood Canal river, non-compliance in the street vendors pay the levy. Inhibiting factors encountered in the field is limited funding sources, awareness of vendors to Regulation No. 11 of 2000 is still low, and so the firmness of the implementor. So that the implementor need to consider factors such as resources, communications, disposition and bureaucratic structures so that the implementation of Regulation No. 11 of 2000 on the policy setting and street vendors development at Village Karangtempel Eastern District of Semarang can run effectively and efficiently
